The ranking, or MoveScore was developed by RealAgile's PhDs, who have nationally recognized expertise in real estate and urban land economics. The MoveScore is the first of its kind.


Underlying the MoveScore is a mathematical discipline called Predictive Analytics. The best-known example of Predictive Analytics is the FICO score used to evaluate an individuals creditworthiness. Predictive Analytics leverages a variety of techniques from statistics and data mining to analyze current and historical data to make predictions about future events. The MoveScore relies on information about demographics, properties, and other relevant data obtained from various third parties.


The MoveScore is effective. In one 16,000-home territory, the 20% of homes with the highest MoveScores generated 48% of the actual sales which occurred in the following six months. Compared to the traditional random approach, an Agent could reach 2.4 times the number of home-sellers with the same prospecting budget, or reach the same number of home-sellers with a much lower prospecting budget. When the homeowner logs on with the unique key the web site instantly captures the unique key and associates it with the homeowner’s address.
